Together Again for the 4th!

We have had a great 4th of July!  It was so nice to wake up with Kam and Daddy here.  They drove twelve hours from AZ to CA yesterday and made it just in time for dinner.  Everything is as it should be for now.  It's wonderful!

This morning we decided to head up to Redwood City to see the new Despicable Me movie. We arrived early and there was a parade and a marathon in progress.  The movie was great and then we got outta there because it was crazy packed with all the street vendors and parade goers. 

We headed to downtown Palo Alto for some lunch at the Creamery.  Owen and Sis waiting for our table.

After an afternoon of cuddles and rest, we headed downstairs for a 4th of July BBQ provided by one of the local churches.  It was delish!  Owen headed outside with Kam to explore and they found a jeep.  It's not totally destroyed yet, so it has to be fairly new.  Owen drove it around for a while and was obviously loving it!  He is making lots of friends at the house and invited them all to ride with him.

I hope you all have a safe Independence Day!  We were going to tackle the crowds and head out for Fireworks, but decided against it.  It always freaks me out with Owen's oxygen tanks to be around fireworks.. Ka Boom.. not good.  Tomorrow is still up in the air.. a day in San Fransisco or a day at the beach?!
