Boring is good.

Our days have been boring and boring is good!  We have been busy getting Kam ready to go back to school in a couple weeks.  Lots of shopping, pedicures, and we have been playing with new hair styles.  We have gotten into a bad habit of staying up late and sleeping in.  We haven't had breakfast before 11am in days.  It's hard to say 'lights out' when my kids are so cuddly and talkative.  I'm just soaking in all the little moments.

Kam has introduced Owen to Anime on Netflix.  I haven't watched any real tv shows in a few weeks, I hope I'm not missing out on much.  Owen is also singing all of Kam's music and they both rock at memorizing lyrics.  Owen is gonna miss his sidekick when she goes back to AZ.

Tonight we had dinner outside on the patio.  The volunteers grilled burgers and chicken... yummy!  We came inside for a little music with Music Man Don.  I couldn't get my kids to sing along, so I just jammed out on my own.
Owen was tired tonight.  Until it's time for bed, now he's wired!  Owen loves all the families living in the RMH with us.  Last night we pushed him up to a table and ran into the kitchen to grab out dinner.  When I came back he was talking with a young couple.  He told them all about his broken heart and that he was waiting for a new one.  The sweet couple are new to the heart world having just had a heart baby 9 days ago.  Owen is always making friends and will talk to anyone!! Anytime we pass a familiar face in the halls (which is often around here), he says "hey!!!  What's up?!"
Not that I'm counting, but Owen has been on the transplant list for 325 days!!
