Heart Day... Update #2

We just got an update from one of the cardios.  The heart is here and is being sewn in.  It takes about 30 min to make all the connections and then they have to warm his body.  I should hear in the hour how it's beating.  Prayers for my boy and that his body accepts his new heart!

Praying! I think I've hit refresh 100 times today. (I've never commented, but have followed and prayed for your family for years.)

I stumbled across your blog through Megan at Inthiswonderfullife! I am so glad that Owen is getting a new heart today and have been stalking your page all day. I live and work near Stanford and am more than happy to bring food or whatever else you guys might need as I know leaving the hospital can sometimes be difficult and as great as Stanford's food is, you get sick of it.

God bless Andrea and family. It has been such a long journey. One that you, your family, and especially Owen have courageously made. Everyone is in our thoughts.
