A Weekend Together

Our weekend was wonderful!  It was great being together once again.  We've been away from home for four weeks now and the time has flown by, but when we miss our family, it feels like eternity.  We spent our Saturday at Half Moon Bay.  It was freezing cold at 50 some degrees so I'm glad my Heart Mom hoodies came in handy.   I love this picture of my favorite three!!

Half Moon Bay is not a swim in the water kind of beach.  It has high tides and a few surfers were braving the freezing waters.  Here is a blog post from Half Moon Bay exactly two years ago... the kids have grown so much!!

We built sandcastles and dug holes "to China". 

Me and my baby girl.. so glad we get to keep her for a couple more weeks!  The rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

I bought these $.99 bubbles at Target and they were fantastic.  We just dipped the wand in and the wind blew out giant bubbles way down the beach.  It was so much fun.

Pure entertainment and spending time with my family.. nothing better.  The drive to Half Moon Bay is only about 20 minutes and it is so gorgeous.  Lots of hills, farms, and the smell of wildflowers and pine trees.  We rolled our windows down and it was so cold, so we cranked up the heater in our car to stay warm.  We will be back... soon! 

This morning (Sunday), we had brunch prepared for us.  Then we spent a good hour in our (RMH) backyard.  Owen rode the jeep all around and even put on a little demo for the volunteers of his driving skills.

We laid in the grass and just soaked in all this gorgeous weather.  I could start everyday like this.  All together.  We took a walk to The Melt for lunch and followed that up with a long afternoon nap.  It was the perfect end to our weekend together.

We dropped Daddy off at the airport tonight and it was hard. :(  I know we will be together again soon, but being apart is the hardest part of this journey.  Love you babe.  We already miss you like crazy.
