Easter was wonderful this year. Lots of time surrounded with Family while celebrating our Savior. Of course we have our traditional Easter fun that starts on the Eve of Easter. Carson thought we may actually get a break this year from the messy egg dying fun, but Owen was not having it. "You know that craft we do every year where we paint eggs? We just HAVE to do that this year!"
The kids found their Easter baskets and set them out for the "Bunny" to fill and hide. Of course Owen loves to leave a billion carrots to balance out all the candy.
It was a miracle that everyone was in bed and sound asleep by 8:30! The Bunny filled baskets and created a scavenger hunt for the kids to find their baskets in the morning. This Bunny may have actually been in bed by 9pm as well... Happy Easter to the Bunny!
We relaxed all morning and headed to my Sis and Nana's house in the afternoon. I didn't take near the amount of pictures I normally do, but my arms were occupied with a little cuddle bug.
We had the traditional Ham dinner and sent the kids outside for an Egg hunt. Thankfully my sister stuffed the eggs with only a little candy and then they got money in the rest. Nana, Gma and Gpa with all their grandbabies.
My family of five.
Logan was not impressed this Easter. Give him a bottle, snuggle him while he naps and that's all he cares about. :)
Kam is the best big cousin to all these little girls. Gigi broke her foot and had us all sign her cast. Liv was hilarious on her sugar high. Lucy and Owen played hide and seek around the house. Logan got snuggles in and took a couple naps. Thanks to my Sis for hosting this year. It was the perfect Easter.
We all had our extended family in our prayers. My dad's big brother, Larry, passed away on April 1st. He will be missed dearly. My dad and Rog will fly out to Ohio this week to attend his funeral and send our love! Life is so precious and each day is a blessing. We believe that families are forever.. so it's not goodbye, just a see you later.
