Weekend Randoms

Kamryn skipped school on Thursday and Friday because her poor gums were so swollen. The good news is that she had 8 teeth pulled, but we only have to wait for 4 teeth to come in. Those four teeth are already cutting through her gums, like they were just itching to break through! She has had to be creative when it comes to eating, so she's not starving.

This weekend is the official beginning of FALL BREAK!! No school. No therapies. No dance. We are going to relax, enjoy the pool, play at the park and enjoy time with friends we haven't seen much this year!

I made this fun little countdown calendar for the kids, printed it as a poster at Costco, and put it on the fridge. Each day, they can put a sticker on the days counting down to our trip. I love photoshop.. it makes things so simple!

  I had a followup with my Nephrologist on Thursday and based on the results of my CT scan, my left kidney is healthy!!  There is no reason to followup with Urology or see him again in the next year.  Just a small background on this if you missed it.. I was born with Polycystic Kidney that only affected the right kidney and it was removed at birth.  This is extremely rare, so I wanted to make sure my other kidney, was still healthy after 32 years.  Such a relief! 

I did see an adult cardiologist and he said I looked great as well.  I have an echo ordered at the end of the month, just to be sure.  This is just something they are looking at because Owen has such an extreme cardiac defect.  I'm sure I am fine. 
I am still working out like a gym rat and I love it so much!!  In just two weeks, I can see definition in my legs and buns.  It feels great!  Well, it doesn't feel so great immediately, I am usually in a ton of pain.  Good pain.  I need to break down and get some new tennis shoes that are made for Zumba/Dance classes.  Running shoes are just killing my feet!  Any suggestions?

Owen is still doing great!  He is having bloody noses due to his high oxygen flow.. major bummer.  He is the king of smooches lately.  He loves to walk up to me and lay a big ol' smackaroo on my lips and say "Momma.. you are SOOOOO bootiful!  I LOVE YOU!!"  He is such a sweetheart.

He decided to switch his Halloween costume for the fourth time... I'll leave this one a surprise!!

Carson wishes he had the week off with us, but I'm sure we'll meet him for lunch several times this week.  I appreciate how hard he works for our family.  Love you babe.
