Palo Alto

**Update**
Owen's cath was bumped up to 8am. I didn't want to sleep in anyway.

We woke up to a chilly morning here in Palo Alto. After doing a load of laundry, we ate breakfast by the pool and then relaxed on the outdoor deck of the hotel.
Today has been relaxing and stress free. It's nice to call housekeeping and have them replenish the towels, make the beds and vaccum. I admit, I am getting a bit spoiled!

I'm left with nothing to do but play and love on this handsome little fella.
Everyday we venture out and explore a little more of this beautiful little college town. The leaves are changing colors, the weather is perfect, and I'm not used to so many trees. In Phoenix, we have cactus and rock.

The middle of our hotel has a huge redwood deck with all kinds of comfy furniture and fountains. Owen loves to play in the water....
He also likes to butt scoot over to the flowers and smell them. I was okay letting him explore until I saw a gigantic black, creepy spider. Good thing it was 10am, cause I screamed loud enough to wake up all 300 some hotel guests.
Owen has been really trying to pull himself up to his knees, not quite to his feet yet. These little stairs are the perfect size for him. Again, before we saw the creepy spider.
Tomorrow is Owen's cath at 12:30. I will be bored as mud, so I will be online and updating. We miss Daddy and Sissy more than we can say. :(

Uncle Rustyn (Carson's littlest brother) is in town on business so he dropped by to see Owen. Too bad Owen crashed 15 min after he got here and slept the entire time. I'm off to wake the little guy from his long slumber so that we can go to a new little outdoor cafe I drove past yesterday. Night.

Sounds like a perfect day and a much needed mini break for you.
I absolutely love the color of Owens hair, it is even blonder since he had it cut!
Good wishes are coming your way for a good news day tomorrow!
We will all be waiting in prayer tomorrow.

I hope the cath goes smooth tomorrow. I'll be thinking and praying for you both. I swear Owen looks older in each picture over the last week. I guess it's the new haircut. Just adorable.

I live in NY and we have PLENTY of trees everywhere. We're just waiting for the snow to start.
