The skies are overcast, we've gotten a drizzle of rain, and it's the perfect weather for swimming. Kamryn has always been fearless in the water,
except for that one swimming lesson class, but that's in the past. Owen will butt-scoot across the steps, scoot into the deeper waters and pray someone catches him and he loves to dunk himself under water. If he didn't have so many tubes, I'd definetly have him in infant swim school.

He always turns blue in water, too. His lips, fingernails, feet and scalp always have a blue tinge, but it's definetly more vibrant when he's in the water. Cardiology says it has something to do with his vessels clamping down,
Dr. Stock lost me on that explaination.

Kamryn and Gigi could live in the pool. They swim, they run around, they jump in, they play tag, they get out to relax in the heat and then right back in. I need to tap into some of their energy. The best part of it is, they eat a ton of dinner and then they crash early. All that heat, water and playing wears them out.

We have at least 4 more months of desert heat, which translates to many more days and nights in the pool. You'd think I'd have a tan by now.
Think again.

I'm ALL about swimming all day and then to bed super early! I'm jealous you have a pool, can we be new best friends? As usual, your cupcakes are darling and fun to read about!
I love days like that. We don't have a pool ourselves, but luckily several friends do. I love the crashing early - next to the fun and excitement, that is the best part!
