We spent the majority of the morning at the Mullen's house today. I used to nanny for the Mullen's when
Kamryn was little. She and I would go to their house a few days a week and I'd watch Jack and Sean.
Kamryn and the boys were
inseparable as we went on adventures to the library, mall, or just stayed home and lived in their pool. When the kids started school all day, I decided to go back to work full time. A few years later, Jean (also
Kamryn's pediatrician) had Katie just a few months before I had Owen. Here they are now, 18 months later....

Katie is walking and talking up a storm! I'm pretty sure Owen was impressed. He saw Katie had a
sippy cup and so he wanted one. He has only used the feeding therapy cups with the straw, so he didn't know what to do with a regular
ol'
sippy cup. We told Katie to show him.

Here he is
imitating her!! She even got him to eat a little bit of
hot dog, watermelon, cheese and pickles for lunch. I think we might need to borrow Katie for a few weeks to convince Owen to eat, walk and start talking.

After Owen's
NG fell out (poor guy), he laid down on me and crashed in the pool. There's nothing like an afternoon nap in the water. The kids ate lunch and we were on our way home before
nap time,
but first I had to put his NG back in (hate that part). I miss the boys a ton and it's so great to see them!
Kamryn loved hanging out with the boys and talking Pokemon, Nintendo
DS and
who knows what else.
Thanks for a GREAT day! Sorry I didn't get any pictures of the older kids, they were entirely too busy to be photographed.

Oh yes sounds like she knows just how to get him to do things :) Adorable pics!
How cute! Owen is not to be outdone! Amazing what a little friendly competition will do, huh?
I am loving the messy hair!!!!
In the first picture, Mr. Owen was really trying to impress Miss Katie, look at that expression on his face...is he too cool or what?????
I love how dedicated you are to your blog and recording your family's history, it is amazing! The 18 month pics of Owen are awesome! I love seeing the progression. I also can't believe that pic of his morning meds. Once again, I think you are amazing and deserve the mom-of-the-year award!! Also, those snickerdoodles look so yummy! I am going to have to try your recipe - thanks for sharing :o)
