The weather has been PERFECT! We're counting down the days til we hit the triple digits and live in the water. Since we haven't been outdoors all week, thanks to the stomach bug, I was dying to get outdoors! We have this fantastic park by our house... and who doesn't have stale bread in their pantry? The ducks weren't complaining.
Yes, that is duck poo we are sitting on.
Owen's self portrait.

To say Owen LOVES the "du, du--kkkkks" is an understatement. Kamryn breaks the bread into teeny-tiny pieces so it lasts longer and we don't have to leave.

As we were leaving, more kids were coming up with their stale bread. These are the healthiest ducks ever!

We have a busy week ahead of us. Most importantly is cardiology on Thursday. Owen will have a full echo and workup. Say a little prayer that his echo is the same and not worse. We'll also draw labs for UCLA and then find out if the chemo is working to decrease his PRA's (panel reactive antibodies).

We're praying for Owen every day. Hope it goes well for you this week. Are you getting caught up on your sleep at all?
Oh little duckie duddle, I pray all your tests are excellent. There's nothing like a big sister to come up with ideas to make the fun last longer.
