My mom, Kamryn and Gigi
Kamryn picked out a monkey piggy-bank to paint for Owen. Have I mentioned that she absolutely adores her baby brother?? It's his very first piggy bank and very special!
I had the ingenious idea to paint Owen's hand so we could put his handprint on the bum of the monkey.... what was I thinking??? 
Owen laughed because the brush tickled his fingers and I only messed up twice. Here is the finished result.. we did it!
This is the front of Kamryn's monkey. I must add that nobody helped her.. she thought it up and painted this cute little guy all by herself. She doesn't get it from me. I love his little heart!
Two hours of painting, 30 minutes chowing down at Fatburger (Kamryn favorite) and cooling off with some coldstone... this is what Owen looked like on the way home. Notice the chocolate ring around his mouth and the red bent straw... we wore him out!
Five minutes later... silence .. this is what I saw in my rear view mirror. Then I took a picture, while driving, don't try that at home!
The rest of the day is lazing around the house, cozied in our PJ's, watching barbie movies. I think we're going to get our feet wet tomorrow....

Sounds like you guys had fun. Kamryn's monkey was really cute. It has been pretty nice here in Utah about 60 degree so we have hung outside a lot. I wouldn't mind being down in Arizona right now. I am glad that Owen is feeling better!

Love the Monkey Kamryn, she is such a sweet sister. Owen looks adorable with that food face, lol. And yes, I would say they both look worn out from that sleeping picture. So cute.
Just like your son, your daughter is beautiful. Pictures really do say a thousand words, because in her eyes, face and smile you can see her heart and the love she has for Owen.
You just sparked an idea of my old passion! I used to take ceramic classes when I was a child, including how to make the ceramics in the kiln, and I love painting so much. I've never even thought of starting again at home or going to a ceramic hobby shop, but I certainly will now. My daughter isn't old enough but I sure would love to paint something for her.

That is so sweet of Kamryn. She is a GREAT painter, I don't think I could do that goo. Way cute idea too about the hand print. Cherish that forever. I am glad you guys are having such a great time. How is Owen feeling? I hope tons better.
