Sunday Morning

After a long night of crazy oxygen saturations, Owen woke up back to his normal self. That means .5 liters of oxygen and 85 percent oxygen saturations. I did try to turn him down to .25 liters and his sats dropped to 70 percent. I have no idea why the little extra puff of O2 makes such a HUGE difference. I'll monitor him the rest of the day (when he's relaxing) and after we play in the pool tonight.

I wonder what his saturations were at here...

Great news that his sats have settled down again - have been checking in to see what was happening! Hope Owen continues to behave himself!

Your Owen is such a sweetie! I am praying for him & took his button.

My little Owain's lips turn blue whenever he gets too active. It is a scary feeling to know another surgery is coming.

Thanks so much for sharing his story.

I just prayed for your precious son. Your pictures are priceless - they tell a story all by themselves.

I can't remember if I've ever left a comment, but I've been here before and have been so touched by your story. Owen has won my heart.

I don't know you but I check your blog often, your little boy is darling as is that sweet daughter of yours. I hope this is okay...I do have a question and maybe you have some suggestions. My cousin just found out his eight month old also has a heart condition, she just went in for her first open heart surgery. They live across the country but I still wanted to send them a package. What are some good items to put in...anything that would be better than others? Anything would be helpful. I just don't want to send anything or something that they can't really use. You can email me back at anniezreagan@gmail.com

Thanks
