Owen's FIRST Bath!
That's right... at 9 months, Owen took his first bath ever! He has always LOVED the shower and it's always more convienient to throw him in the shower with daddy or myself, than to fill up the tubby and get in with him. By the looks of the pics, he was enjoying himself... but this lasted all of a minute and he had enough! Showers it is!
Oh... and we're back on O2! Good thing the home health care continually "forgot" to pick up the lovely green oxygen tanks in our family room. They came in handy this time around. Owen's sats always drop after his caths... but this time he's been dropping into the 60's on room air, so he's on 1/2 liter of O2 to keep him above 80%. For all you non medics... the average person's O2 sats are at 100%, so 60% is just plain not good.

Hi Andrea, Owen is such a little cutie. I've been following your blog for a few months. I found it thru hearing about Gracie Gledhill. I don't know if you remember me ----- I am Lance Holman's mom & was your YW president in South Jordan. I tried sending a comment once before but not sure if it made it thru. Lance's sister Robbie has a 5 yr. old HLHS son. She also lost a HLHS/Turners daughter at 6 months into her pregnancy. We can understand the crazy medical journey you are on. It is so worth it! Robbie & I met a beautiful 17 yr. old girl in Aug. that is HLHS. She is doing so well. Her doctors think she may even be able to have children one day if she chooses. I'm sure Rob would love to be in touch with you. Hope all is going well with your parents and Kelli too. Love, Siri Holman
Hi Siri!1 Of course I remember you and your family! Timmt Brown mentioned something about Robbie having a baby with the same condition. I'd love to hear from h0er or get your email so we can chat!! How's Lance and his cute wife doing? You can email me anytime....andreanicolesimmons@hotmail.com.
So great to hear from you!
Andrea,
I am so sorry to hear of the new finding. My heart is aching for you as you must feel frightened and confused right now. I am so sorry! Please know that I think of you so often and I LOVE checking in to see Owen's darling little face. He is an absolute doll and you are an amazing woman. You help me to remember to be positive and keep my faith.
Love, Keisa
Sorry to see him on the O2 again...I know that is a pain in the butt, but also piece of mind at the same time.
Anyway, he's as cute as ever...love bath tub pics!
Great pics! We've done the shower thing from time to time just for convenience sake, but Trent much prefers his baths with his sister!
