Owen has graduated to a BIG BOY carseat!! After he hit 19lbs on the scale we decided that the infant seat was just not cuttin' it anymore. He LOVES the extra room to kick and stash his chewables and now he's tall enough to see out the windows! Our little baby is growing up WAY too fast.... maybe in another 8 years we'll finally have baby number 3!
On an entirely different note... I took away Owen's O2 this morning. I was going to wean him from .5 to .25 liters and realized that the tank was completely empty! I totally forgot that those lovely, giant green tanks run out of oxygen. I have no idea how long he's been wearing the nasal cannula with nothing actually running through it? So, I checked the oximeter and he was at 80... good enough for me....so I just took him off completely. So far, so good! I still haven't heard from cardiology and so as much as I'm just wanting to know the plan of attack, it's also nice NOT knowing.
Oh and IS IT REALLY FALL???... cause it still feels like SUMMER to me!! Why is it still 90degrees outside??

Oh, that first pic is hysterical! The look on Owen's face is priceless!
Nothing like firetrucks & red hairbows! He is adorable...and ridiculously cute! Just goes to prove how beautiful of a baby boy he is!
90 degrees??? Seriously??? I am suffering with highs in the upper 60's here in SC! I am headed west!
yeah owen!! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
ha! Loved your post today- just thinking about you guys and checking in! 90 degrees huh? It sounds nice actually! I love having all of the seasons up here in Washington, but a little more summer would be fun! You guys are in AZ right? I lived in Peoria for about 8 years when I was younger and I still have alot of family around Phx. We'll have to get together next time we're down for a visit!
Owen's expression is too funny...And I hear you on that weather. It's been in the 90s all week long; I think it's supposed to reach 94 today. Crazy to think that it is almost November and we are still walking around in shorts and flip flops (but I guess that is why I love SoCal so much)! Owen has been in my thoughts since you got the news from his cath and I continue to pray for him...best wishes.
Shannon
