Owen was thrilled to see his Logi, Bo and Auntie Kelli. Kam set up Pokémon GO for Owen on my phone. He played it non stop and now that's all Owen talks about. We go on multiple walks a day and Owen always convinces his nurses to let him walk outside in the atrium to catch "rare" Pokémon. This boy has more energy when he is Poke Hunting (is that a term?) He was on cloud 9 when we walked down a very vacant hallways and there was a Pikachu waiting for Owen to capture him. Now he tells his story about how he caught a Pikachu. The nurses keep telling him that 4am is a prime time to catch Pokémon...
I got lots of snuggles in with Kam and Logi. I enjoyed my long evening talks with Kam at the RMH when Logi fell asleep snuggled close between his two favorite girls. He gets his hands in our hair and he was just in heaven. It was pure happiness and I can't wait until all my babies and husband can be snuggled up in one bed watching a movie again. Soon!
Kelli got lots of Lego building time in with Owen and she let him win in Monopoly (which he loves to do). I wish I had more time with my sister. We had plans for pedis but time flew by too quickly.
We had a fantastic weekend and it was time to say goodbye once again. They flew home this afternoon and we are back to our routine at the hospital. The next time we will be together is Labor Day weekend (unless something BIG happened before then). We are all getting through this together.
This is the best video.. Love my little lover of doggies. I am not an animal person but to see Logi's love of dogs makes me almost want to buy one.
My heart is full.

I have been following your family's story for quite a while now. You and your family's strength continually amaze me, but I know in your eyes you are just doing what needs to be done. Just know that you are an inspiration to others. I became interested in reading fellow heart blogs after my daughter was diagnosed with a heart defect at birth. I just heard this Deseret News story, http://igoforgood.com/index.html, and I hope that there is some way that you can use it there at the hospital to help Owen get his Pokemon Go time in. Well wishes coming your way!
So glad you got some time with all three kids and they got to be together. Pokemon Go is so fun! Love from MN
I was so happy to see you got to spend time with your sister and your babies.... IT will be wonderful when you can all be together again. It is too bad you have to be apart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all every day. IT is so wonderful to her Owen has tuned into Pokemon Go and that, at this point he is able to get out and about.... IT's too hot to be out here in South Florida (I dehydrate very quickly) but hopefully, once the weather finally breaks Pokepmon Go will still be around...
Yea! So glad you were able to be with all of your children this weekend! I can hear your excitement through reading your words....just know you and your family are always in my prayers. I know you have got to be so proud of Kam, she is such an awesome young lady and so very responsible....you'll have done good, all of your children are such an inspiration, but that Logan, I tell ya, he is really an inspiration, always seems so positive and upbeat, even though he has been through more than any child his age should have to endure....God be with you all! Thank you for sharing your story! A friend in East Texas, Pam.
