With that said.. we LOVE to get the chance to actually meet our many heart friends in person. Brytten emailed me last week and said she would be in Arizona this week and so we planned to get together for lunch yesterday. Tegan and Owen have the same heart condition and are both doing good considering. We had a good chat and the boys waved at eachother, gave knuckle bumps and high fives.

Glad you enjoyed the visit with your heart friends. I agree....no one understands what we go through like another heart family. It does help to get through the rough times on this journey having someone who fully understands to chat with.

So fun. It is always soo good to meet other families and their amazing kids.
I am a new follower...as we aren't dealing with the same illness/disease we are dealing with the same heart ache and pain. My daughter has Cystic Fibrosis with addition medical issues that make her very severe. We are currently in the hospital, this will probably be about a 3 week stay. We do this quite often. I am always looking for more people to chat with and share stories and just someone who can "understand"

I agree! I was just down in Arizona last week (we were down for a DRI convention) and was planning on getting in touch with you. However, it was during the time that you had gone to California. Bummer. Maybe next time.
