As soon as we walked thorugh the front doors I heard Owen cough...once...twice...and then it happened... PUKE everywhere!! All over me, the cart, the carseat and obviously, himself. Now when Owen pukes, it's not just a little...it's A LOT and he kinda stops breathing for a minute and turns a bit blue. Apparently the other Costco shoppers haven't seen a baby turn blue before and started freakin out a bit. After doing much convincing that everything is okay and this is "normal" .. I stripped Owen down and now I had a naked baby in Costco. I hurried thorugh the store grabing only what I needed (this isn't easy to do at Costco). At one point I turned around to smile at Owen and realized his NG tube was half out and the tape was MIA. So, out came the tube ... naked baby...puke on EVERYTHING and I looked at Kamryn and all she could do was laugh.
We were grateful to be home, showered, dressed and our things put away. Better luck next time.... but next time won't be anytime soon.

You probably thought the worst that could happen was he'd cry & you'd have to carry him while Kamryn pushed the cart...who'd have thought everything that could go wrong would go wrong!?!
I NEVER took Joshua out of the house either, until he had recovered from his Glenn. He was a good 6 months by that point! Now we take him every where, but it took some getting used to!
Anyway, what madness! Hope you didn't forget anything on your list:)!
Cute pic!
Oh my! I can totally relate to the vomiting in public bit. Ethan has been throwing up daily since May and it is so unpredictable. I am so sorry. What an adventure!

We've taken our Owen to exactly 4 public places, Costco being one of them. He slept the whole time. Here's hoping your next public outing experience is a peaceful one! -Adrienne
What an adventure Andrea. I am sure you handled it beautifully though as you seem to handle everything. I hope that next time your outing is very boring. The photo is darling and it makes me so happy to see that Owen is doing so well. YEAH Owen!!!!

Oh my goodness...what a day! I remember the first time I took Braeden out to the store by myself(and yes we had puke everywhere as well)By the time we were in the checkout lane, the cashier asked me, if there was something wrong with my baby(because he looked blue)Hopefully next time will be much better, it sounds as if you handled it every mishap quite well :) Love the new pictures of Owen, he is such a cutie!

Oh, Andrea, I am sorry! Never a dull moment, that is what makes life fun, right?
I hated when the timing is bad but what do you do? Hopefully things will get better with the puking thing.
Hugs,
Mike
Way to keep your sense of humor. You guys are awesome. Owen looks great!!
OMG,I can only imagine, but I totally feel you on the puking, turning blue and people staring at you and saying "that is not normal honey", never in public though;) not yet at least!
Heart Hugs- Brytten
I am so, so sorry! Going to Costco is an adventure in and of itself! Then you add the drama of a puking baby! I wouldn't be going anywhere for awhile either.
