Time for change

Things are changing. There are only six days of summer vacation left until Kamryn starts 4th grade. She has grown 4" and 2 1/2 shoe sizes this summer. My babies are growing, changing before my eyes. Owen is getting more confident standing and he'll be walking before I know it. A year ago, he was learning to sit, and making our favorite face of all time!

In celebration of change around here, I am going to be redesigning the blog the next couple of days. Think blue.

We have a lot of fun planned before the first day of school. Most of all, I'll be enjoying time with my two little babes. Before I know it, Kamryn will be starting Junior High at the same time that Owen will be starting Kindergarten. I sure do wish I could slow down time.

Thanks for the advice about Dr. Pearl. It makes me feel a lot better that you liked him so much. It's scary to put your child's life in someone else's hands but it helps when you trust them.
That picture of Owen is so cute! You gotta love the faces they make.

If you figure out how to slow down their growing let me know. My baby just got baptized, how did eight years go by so stinkin fast??? It seems like once they get into school time goes twice as fast.

Isn't it sad when they make a face and then one day you're like "hey I haven't seen you do that for awhile" :(

Oh I sencond that I wish so bad I could go back to the time when my first baby was born.. You know when i think about that day or even the night we went to the hospital I can still remember the converstaions with the nurses and my husband and I can remember being so teriffed, but I most of all remember the hot smell of summer and her new skin touching mine and the smell of new born, oh it is like I wished I could bottle it all up and never let the top off untill she goes to college or something. Man it sucks that they have to grow up. and mine is only in 1st grade. I do have to say that my hubby and I have been fighting so much latley and I do have to say that I just figured OUT why! I am so torn that my kids are a nother yr older and that is hard for me. Well now that I got it all fresh I need to call my hubby and talk to him... Thanks Andrea for that great post, sometimes when you think you are posting for your own perosnal journal you are really helping someone else ouT! Give mr. O a kiss for me I love that kid, Love your new blog header. Make me one!
