The Happiest Place on Earth!!

Our magical week started on Sunday at 4am. We woke our kids and loaded them in the car and they had no idea what was going on. We headed to a parking lot to meet up with all of their cousins to tell them the big surprise. We were going to Disneyland!!!!

We booked rooms at the Disneyland Resort for five nights of magic and fun. I'm pretty sure I was more excited than the kids as I had been anticipating and planning this trip for months. We arrived at our hotel at 11:30 and rode the monorail into the park for lunch and a few rides.
We rode the kids' favorite ride...Pirates of the Carribean.. Owen had his hands in the air the entire time. He loved the waterfalls! Owen was begging to ride the "choo choo", so we jumped on the Disneyland Railroad.
We arrived back in our room just in time for an afternoon nap. We were upgraded to a remodeled room with fireworks on the headboard and the coziest beds ever.

We ended up back in the park that night to ride more rides and to watch fireworks. It was great watching our littlest thrill seeker on the Teacups, Autopia and the Buzz Astroblasters. Kamryn had so much fun as we walked on every ride with little to no wait time.

We heard Owen giggling behind us as he crashed their car over and over again! Owen likes to end his nights with a little wrestling and a pillow fight. We crashed hard that first night after six hours of driving and playing in Disney. We still had 4 days to go! There was just too much fun for one post... I'll do one post for each day. We had an amazing trip together, so much that we ended up in the lobby at 9pm on our last day and booked an extra day at the hotel. More on that later...
