Today he got his own cracker out of the pantry, climbed onto his train table and got his electric drill out so he could drill his cracker into a million tiny pieces. A normal reaction would be to have a chat about how we don't eat in the family room, or climb on tables, or drill our food... but I was so thrilled that he had the energy to do all that, I couldn't help but praise him!

Don't ask me what's up with the socks. Owen likes to be naked with accessories lately. Socks, hats, mittens, necklaces, belts... you name it.. he wants to wear it. It's so hot that I usually just let him play around the house in his diaper all day. It saves me at least a couple loads of the dreaded laundry each week.
I have tons of blogging to catch up on but it's harder when Owen is so busy all day. I can't wait until he realizes how much less energy he'll burn when walking. Have you ever tried to scoot around the house on your bottom??? SO hard!
Kamryn is busy getting ready for school to start in two weeks. She just found out who her teacher is going to be and she is thrilled! She was selected to play the Violin in orchestra next year and that's the instrument she wanted to learn. We just finished up our back to school shopping and now I think she's counting down the days. I, on the other hand, am going to be sad to send her back. I'm pretty sure her little Bro is going to be devestated. :(

Glad Owen is feeling good! I love the pic with him drilling the cracker!! He is such a cutie! Great job on the walking Owen!! Praying!
Yeah to hear that Owen is doing better!!! My house looks like that often and we don't have an excuses. What did Stanford finally say?
That is GREAT news! I always praise the messes too....it makes it hard to feel bad about them when you are just delighted that your child is feeling good to make them! Here's to many more weeks of summer messes!
so great to read about good days for owen! I love your outlook.. so he's making a mess, that he has the energy to make it is all that matters. It's a great reminder.
I laughed out loud reading your comment on my blog. I think i need motivation therapy too! Every single day. It gets so hard to keep wanting to try, because it's much more work for us than them. And even after we've tried so hard to get it to go down orally, our work isn't done.. then we have to go make something else and get it in the tube. It's exhausting!
So happy to hear how much better your little man is doing! Even with his puny sats, he still sounds like he's 100% better. He just makes me laugh, what a cutie!
