Does anyone have any video camera suggestions?? I am thinking about getting a little HD Flip Video. One that I can put in my purse and take lots of videos while we're out. Another option would be a smart phone... but I like my ancient motorolla phone. I hardly use it and I know that if I had an iphone or any other smart phone, I would spent entirely too much time on it. Also.. while we're making suggestions... does anyone know of any great lenses or places to rent?? I'm thinking of renting a lens for our CA trip in a few weeks. I want something that takes great pictures outdoors. I currently have the kit lens 18-55mm and the 50mm prime lens.
I have some GREAT videos of Owen this week. Not only did he learn how to come DOWN the stairs (it's hilarious, trust me), he can also walk with his Gait Trainer. I don't think I took pictures of his Gait trainer that we ordered through the home healthcare company... it's a fancy piece of equipment and we ordered a bunch of prompts for it. Turns out, he uses just the frame for support while walking. He's going to take off on those two feet anytime!!!

I have a Flip Video, and I love it. It can hold about an hour of video on it at a time, so you have to make sure you upload frequently. It's super easy to use, and so small that it can fit in your pocket. I think it's great!
We have two flips - one for us and our 10-year-old has his own. Both are great, easy to carry, easy to use. We video more with it, than we ever did with our conventional video camera.

Also, I got my daughter the Ultra Flip video camera and she loves it. Very easy to use and easy to carry in her purse. They use it much more now than the big video cam they have. Haven't had any problems uploading videos either and I love watching my grandson! Hope this helps!

I have a flip...and you WILL LOVE IT!
Just get one that charges while plugged into your computer and does NOT take batteries (gosh...you'll go through a million!)
I LOVE your camera. I have the canon..but, just the Rebel XT...I think I need a new one..hubby thinks I should get a job. hmm....
I have never even thought about renting a lens....look at you...smarty pants!

Just wanted to say thanks for your precious, thoughtful message and prayers for our Evie girl! I have found such encouragement through connection with other heart moms. I dont comment often, but we check in on Owen regularly and pray for his special heart as well.
