It's beginning to feel like Christmas around here! We are feeling the spirit of the season in the hospital. It's not the same as previous holidays but we are making it fun. We skipped school all week until Owens stuffy nose was completely gone. Today was art day and they made watercolor paintings. I left him there to run back here for Doctor rounds and came back to find him painting a Santa. He was just so proud of himself!!!

We have been listening to Christmas music and playing Minecraft ever since our family went home. I'm actually getting good at Minecraft but it has brought lots of laughs from my boy!
Here is a terrible photo of his adorable little tree he decorated. The nativity is his favorite!

Kam made him a fireplace which everyone loves when they come in.

It's feeling festive and fun! I would gladly take it all down if we got the call.

We venture out at least once a day. Bingo night is one of Owens favorites and so we made our way to the playroom this one time. The Stanford baseball team was hosting and Owen kept commenting on the "old guys"...what's that make me?

As we were walking to school today we heard Christmas Carollers were singing on the 3rd floor. We were the only ones here and Owen loved listening to them sing! He got lots of candy canes and attention before they headed back down to the lobby for an audience. It was a fun little private concert.

We have been so fortunate this year. Small daily miracles happen and it's a reminder that this is all in Gods timing. We are just along for the ride and making it the best we can.
Back home...
Carson celebrated his 40th Birthday on Thursday! A lunch with friends, then took Logi and Kam out to dinner.
Kam has been slammed at school with finals coming up in a couple weeks. She will do great!
Logi has been keeping everyone busy. Larissa and Rustyn (Carsons oldest sister and youngest brother) took Logi to the Zoo. He loved it so much! I love all the videos and messages I get through the day. He is so happy!!

Only 23 days until Christmas!
