Lazy Days of Summer

Our summer has been filled with lazy days of kickin around the house in our pj's all day! Since it's WAY too hot outside (110-114degrees) for Mr. Owen and his many medical "accessories"don't make it easy to go anywhere. This encourages us to become creative since we're stuck indoors for the majority of the day. I am enjoying my days at home with the kids until I have to force myself out the door to work until midnight. I am not complaining as I ENJOY this time at home, being Lazy and taking a much needed break from all the hustle and bustle of our lives.

Kamryn and Owen snuggling in my bed. Owen is thinking "Stop taking pictures of me and PICK ME UP before sissy kisses my cheeks off!"

Hope you're enjoying your summer!!!

Hi Andrea, I don't know if you remember me. I was your YW leader in South Jordan. Lance Holman is my son. Anyway, I came across your blog. Robbie, my daughter had been told of Gracie Gledhill's blog and her amazing story & told me I should read it. I discovered all these blogs of families writing about their children with HLHS. Anyway, I kept looking at your picture thinking how familiar you looked, but couldn't place you. I told Robbie about your little Owen. She called back and said, "Mom, that's Andrea Boulden!" Robbie has had two HLHS children. Trey, now age 4 1/2 and angel Sasha that would be 3 next month. I cannot believe how well you are doing taking care of your Owen. He is getting thru his surgeries as well as any I've heard of. I pray for him and for your family. It's a tough journey you are going thru, but it's easy to see the blessings along the way. Love Ya, Siri Holman

I am so happy that you are enjoying so lazy days. You deserve every minute of them. It looks like Owen is doing so well and he is growing a ton. Way to go Owen! I hope your summer continues to be BORING! We are so proud of Owen and I thank you for your kind words and support.
