SIX Big Gives!!!

The Mickey Mail just keeps coming!! There were two packages waiting on Saturday and another four on Monday!! We have been so spoiled and appreciate every single package. Wow.. we are so blown away!!!

Our first package came from disname: Cogero.

The kids had individual wrapped packages inside to open...

Kamryn got a cutie Tinkerbell tee and matching Tink skirt... so cute!! She loves these cutie princesses so much!!

Owen got two Superhero shirts and the cutest Marvel comic shorts with all his favorite Superhero friends!  Here is his Captain America shirt.

And his Spiderman shirt!  The kids LOVE their new outfits and can't wait to wear them!!

The next package came from disname: Toadstool. 

Inside was an Incredibles embroidered shirt for none other than Daddy!!! :)

And he was such a champ to model it for us!! It fits great and I'm sure he'll be wearing it to Hollywood Studios!

On Halloween, we had four packages waiting.  Gigi was over and instead of getting our costumes on, we decided we just had to open the Mickey Mail!!  The first package came from disname: VBAndrea.

She made the kids matching denim skirt and shorts to coordinate with our Epcot shirts!!

Here is a close up of the cute embroidered Minnie head on Kamryn's skirt.  Owen has the same one, but without a bow.  Cute stuff!!! Thanks!!

The second package of the night was from disname: Aidansmommy. 

She made Owen a super cute Spiderman cape!!  He loves it so much!!!

She made Kamryn a couple ribbons for her hair, obviously not to be worn at the same time as modeled.  Thank you so much!

The third package of the day came from disname: Fruto76. 

We got the cutest matching outfits to wear to Chef Mickeys!!!  This is Carson's shirt...

And mine.. Thanks for the great picture Gigi monster!!   You can tell it had been a long day.

Kamryn's cute shirt and totally cute Minnie skirt to wear with it!!

Owen's cute shirt also matched his shorts that he received earlier from VBAndrea!!  We can't wait to wear these outfits!!  Thank you!!

The final package of the day came from disname: Princessmickey.

She made the cutest backpacks!!  She hand sewed backpacks for the kids with little pockets inside and out!  How adorable!

Mickey for Owen and Tink for Kamryn.. there is a pattern here. :)

If that weren't enough, she stuffed them full of stickers, silly bands, and lanyards!

The Big Give has been amazing!!  We appreciate everything so much!!  You are all so wonderful!!

Halloween!!!!

Is it just me or did October disappear in a blink?! We didn't have time to visit a pumpkin patch, finish our spooky crafts or carve pumpkins this year.  October is one of my favorite months, but it came and went too fast this year.

We rushed around like crazy after school yesterday and still didn't make it out the door for pictures until after dark. I was so bummed I lost my light for great photos, but these will do. We had my family over for Chili before hitting the street to load the kids up with candy.

Allow me to introduce to you... Princess Zelda, Rupunzel, Thor and Wonder Woman!!! 

Kamryn was Princess Zelda.  She spent a ton of time painting, sewing and making her armor.  She did such a great job and looked awesome!!  I can't believe I didn't get a great show of her costume and the back of the dress has a ton of detail as well.  I'll take better pictures soon. 

Gigi was Rupunzel and doesn't she look so much like her??!

Liv was Wonder Woman and looked so cute!!  Everything was "Scawy"!

Mister Owen was THOR!!  "I AM THOR!" he would repeat all night!!  He originally picked his costume because he really wanted a weapon.. "Do you want me to smack you with my Hammer?" 

He switched out of his hard Thor helmet and put on his "comfy" one.  I am so glad he settled on a costume last minute.. we went from Spiderman to Thor and yesterday morning Owen said "I'm going to be the best Ironman ever tonight!"  Ummm... or not! 

We have such a great neighborhood to Trick-Or-Treat in!!  There were hundreds of kids outside and lots of spooky houses!!  The kids had so much fun!  My favorite house had a spooky masked man hiding in the bushes and he would jump out as the kids were walking down the driveway.. Gigi freaked!!  Owen got his hammer out like, I got this monster!

Owen stashed his candy all around his stroller and only a few pieces made it into his bag.  After about an hour, half the family headed back to the house and the rest of us continued on.  Owen, Kamryn, Gigi and Rog went through a maze of houses until we found our way home. Our feet were tired, the kids had overflowing buckets of candy, and we were all ready for bed!!

We had such a great Halloween this year!!  The kids all looked great, the weather was amazing, and the atmosphere was spooky and fun!! I am sad that October is over and we just packed up our Halloween decorations. 

I love to listen to the kids as we walk back to our house.. "Next year, I'm gonna be......" 

Halloween Carnival Performance

The girls performed at our local Halloween Carnival today!! There was a small stage that the girls were dancing on and Kamryn was so nervous that she was going to dance right off the stage. She is not used to dancing on small stages. The girls usually dance on courts, fields, and auditorium stages. This was a new experience and they did a fantastic job!!

Kamryn and Daddy saving seats way before the show.  SO glad we got there early and found a shady spot.  People were standing up in the heat all over.. ugh.  It was pretty hot at 90 degrees!  I am looking forward to fall temps soon.

I usually just videotape Kamryn's performances, but today I tried to snap a few pictures too.  Major fail.  Ha.

Here is Gigi rocking it on stage too!  She is such a ham on stage!  She had a really quick costume change.. like 60 seconds.. so some girls are still wearing their fishnets. 

After the performance, Owen was begging to ride the train around the park.  At first he was on with Grandpa Todd, but got nervous and wanted me to ride.  When we switched arms I wacked Owen's head on the top of the train.. poor guy. :(  Mom fail.  

After the performance, Owen was exhausted.  There was a second show but there was no way we could stay and have Kamryn perform again.  So we missed the second show.  Bummer.  We hadn't eaten and it was 2:30, so we went with Grandpa Todd and Monica to Joes BBQ.  Out of the heat and fed our bellies..  we felt so much better after that! 

The girls have another performance next Friday and then a parade in December.  Then the real performance season begins!!!   Good job girlies.. you danced great as always!!
