This afternoon we received the best news... ZERO REJECTION!!! After stable labs, IV removal, ECHO, EKG, and Chest Xray, we were on our way! Owen is thrilled to be outpatient and he is so happy. It has been a very long 10 months leading up to today. I still can't believe we are post transplant and that things are going so well. Owen has had a record fast recovery and is doing fantastic.

Owen loves the new RMH. We have lots of friends here right now and that makes it pretty fun. Everywhere you go there is a friendly face and his friends are all fighting their own battles. We even got to visit with a family we lived with in 2013 at RMH. It is not always easy living with 80 or so other families, but we will make it great. Get ready to read about our fun adventures outpatient!!

So happy for this extordinary journey! Thank our dear Lord for the record setting transplant. I don't think I've smile this much in a long time. My face muscles are sore. Go Owen! Can't wait to hear about your RMH adventures.

Oh my goodness such good news and by looking at him in this last picture you would never know how sick he was just a little over a week ago. Thank goodness for answered prayers and prayers for continued answered prayers. My thoughts continue to be with you'll and with Owen's donor family, none of this would be possible without them. Love you all from East Texas!
I'm giving thanks for all of the answered prayers for Owen! He looks SO good! I can't believe how far he has come in such a short time. Sounds like his new heart is a great match! Love his shirt! He truly is a superhero. Keeping you all in prayer.
