It has been another wild week. I am still trying to find a schedule that works for all of us, but it's getting better. Logan and I are sleeping more at night and I am so guilty of putting him in my bed at times. Kam only coslept or else we didn't sleep. Owen liked his own space and with all his oxygen/feeding tubes it was best to keep him in his crib next to my bed. Logan starts out cuddling to sleep with his night feed and I put him in his crib next to my bed, but at some point during his million night feeds (little piggly wiggly) he ends up snuggled in my arms. What's the saying? You can't spoil a baby? :)
Owen's foot orthotics finally came in!! He was fitted for new foot orthotics back in November. We left Logan with Auntie today so we could drive downtown and spend a good hour getting adjusted and make sure his new orthotics fit well. Owen stayed entertained while waiting.
He picked black on black.. they are a lot more supportive than I assumed they would be. I was expecting SMOs, but since he has added toe walking to his weak gait, Brett thought he'd give him a little more support for now.
Owen LOVES them!! He walked all around and didn't want to take them off in the car. He also got some new Nike's since his shoes have to be a good size bigger than his real size to accommodate the foot orthotics. He is so proud of his new orthotics and warned Payton (at school) that he was going to be able to keep up with her on the playground! We go back in 4 months to be refitted and perhaps even go with something lower profile. In the meantime, we are going to work his buns off in PT and continue to grow. He is gaining weight and inches by the day!!
Speaking of growing.. holy smokes Batman!! This little guy is chunking up and growing way too fast!! He is loving tummy time, lifting up his head and I just want to push a pause button. He hit four weeks on Wednesday.. FOUR weeks!!
The weather is perfect in the desert and we plan to get outdoors a lot and enjoy our three day weekend as a family. Life is good!!!

Finding My Groove
Life has been a little crazy this week, but we survived!! It was our first week back to reality after winter break and it's not as easy to get out of the door at 6:45 with three kiddos! I'm still trying to find my groove. This little cutie has been keeping me up at night. He wakes up every two hours to eat... 11pm, 1pm, 3am, 5am, and 6:30am as we're rushing out the door. He doesn't really wake up, he just sqwaks at me to give him food and he chows down! He quickly drifts back to sleep, but I spend a good 20 minutes burping him or else he'll spit up everywhere. He is also getting used to snuggles and will appear to be sleeping soundly, but as soon as I lay him down, those eyes pop open! So he sleeps well, but this mama is sleep deprived. Sleep is overrated anyway. :) As soon as I actually get him back in his bed, I get about an hour of sleep before we do it all over again.
I'm glad I have so many helpers during the day. All five of us are showered, ready and out of the house by 6:45am! Daddy is off to work and I have all the kiddos packed in the car heading to the High School. That includes Owen's meds, tube feeds, baby fed and changed. I kinda feel like a rockstar when we actually pull out of the garage each morning... on time! I get a couple hours in the AM after dropping off Owen and the baby is taking a quick nap when I catch up on laundry, dishes and "damage control".
After school is my favorite time of day. Kam loves to snuggle Logan for me so I can help Owen with homework and get dinner prepped.
Here are some 3 week photos of Mr Logan. He has already outgrown all his newborn clothes so it was bittersweet to pack those away.
Owen, bless his heart, loves to help out! He gets so nervous when Logan starts to fuss or "grunt" and rushes on to say "Mom.. do something quick.. he's not happy!" He always asks when Logan is going to do something more than eat, sleep and poop. Soon buddy. Soon.
Life is good. I'm looking forward to this weekend and we have ZERO plans. I'm going to lounge around in my PJs, catch up on some much needed sleep, and plan my meals for next week. I feel like I'm spread so thin these days that I forget to eat and then I feel crummy. Then I get ravenous and binge on easy to grab foods... lets just say it's not doing this mama any favors. Happy Weekend!!

Kam's 15th Birthday and Happy New Year!!
Guess who is 15 today? That's right... 15!! I can't believe that 15 years ago I had given birth to this sweet little girl. I never could have imagined the amazing girl she would become. She is brilliant, funny, nerdy, and the best sister to her little brothers. Kam loves dance, Japanese, video games, makeup and shopping. She is always dressed perfectly and fully accessorized! She doesn't love her braces, honors geometry, or being tardy to anything. She is such a dream and we are so proud of her!

Happy Birthday Sis!!! Just six months until you get your drivers permit!! YAY!!
We had an early birthday celebration on Friday to ring in the new year. BBQ, fireworks and family was the perfect mix. It was freezing cold outside for fireworks but we bundled up and had a great time!
It was a wonderful New Years and we are looking forward to 2015!
I am not making any resolutions this year, because it always ends up being a one week to do list and I forget about it anyway. Who has time for resolutions? I am going to work on being a better version of me. I can't wait to get back to my Hip Hop and Zumba classes. I want to get my nursing school application in. I want to plan more date nights with my man. Finally print all my thousands of blog posts into blog books! There is so much I can't wait to do this year and there is no limit!!
Here is a little walk down memory lane.. just for fun!
January 3, 2000... 6lbs 13oz, 21.5" long

TWELVE YEARS
THIRTEEN YEARS

FOURTEEN YEARS
FIFTEEN YEARS
I love looking back on all these photos and age progressions. The time has flown by! We celebrated her birthday with a huge breakfast of pancakes, bacon and hash browns for our breakfast loving girl. Then we headed out to the mall and shopped. For dinner we went to Kona Grill and had a fab dinner together with our family of five. Kam requested strawberry shortcake for her birthday dessert. I hope her birthday was perfect cause she deserves it.Happy Birthday Sis!!! Just six months until you get your drivers permit!! YAY!!
