We have arrived.

After a long 8 hour drive along the coast of California, we finally made it to Palo Alto! We were upgraded to a giant suite and private balcony upon check in and are loving the space.   Uncle Rustyn came down from San Fransisco and brought the kids presents.  Kam got some awesome art supplies and so she is now sitting on our patio, enjoying the cool air, and drawing.
Uncle Rusty brought Owen the Abomination that he has been SO excited about since he got his HULK in March.  If you didn't know, the Abomination is the villan that fights the Hulk!  So as creepy as he is, Owen loves him!!
We had dinner at Olive Garden and you can tell we are super hipsters because we were arriving back to the hotel just as everyone was leaving for their night on the town!  We are the old couple that went to dinner during happy hour.  Ha!

Tomorrow we have a day planned in San Fransisco, hanging out with Carson's siblings and just soaking up the city.  I still need to post about Legoland, the beach and more!  I'll get to it, but for now, I'm going to head outside to join Kam on the patio.

Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July from Southern Cali!  We made the six hour trek to the beach and are looking forward to a few days of fun!!  We are still trying to decide which beach to try to attempt to watch the fireworks.  Hope you're enjoying your Independence Day!!  God Bless America!!

Hello Monday.

Hello Monday.  The weekend blew by and we did a lot of relaxing.  Owen got a much needed haircut via Daddy on the bathroom counter.  His hair grows so fast and he hates to have it cut, so when we cut it, we go really short!  I love it so much and so does he.  Don't you just love his I don't want my picture taken because I'm playing Batman on the wii and you are bugging me?!
Sunday morning was our first Heart Mom brunch.  We do a lot of dinners and nights out, but we decided to try out brunch and it was a success!  These ladies are so awesome and I am so lucky to call them friends. :)
That wraps up our weekend.  It was totally chill and now we are packing and preparing for our trip to Stanford.  I can't wait to lay on the beach and soak in the ocean breeze.  Bliss.
